Recommended Firing Range: 1180–1220°C
Form: Supplied as a liquid glaze in 175 g, 500 g, and 1000 g packages.

Application Characteristics

  • An artistic glaze featuring a combination of deep blue and green tones. Green shades are more prominent in thin applications, while thicker applications result in darker blue hues.
  • Glossy surface finish.
  • Semi-transparent glaze structure. It may become more opaque as the application thickness increases.
  • No tendency to run within the recommended firing range.
  • Acid-resistant and free from toxic substances.

Application Methods

  • Suitable for brush application; the recommended thickness is 1 to 3 coats.
  • For spray or dipping applications, it is recommended to add approximately 5–30% water to adjust the consistency.
  • Recommended Baumé range: 45–55°Bé.

Testing Recommendations

  • For customers using our glazes for the first time, we recommend preparing test tiles in your own firing conditions and application methods to observe the results accurately.
  • Preparing both vertical and horizontal test pieces according to your application method will help you better understand the glaze’s behavior.
  • The sample shown in the product image was applied over BNC 1200 white porcelain clay.
  • When combining artistic glazes with other artistic glazes or different glaze groups, testing is recommended to avoid possible defects and incompatibilities.

Care and Cleaning

  • When washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical solutions. This may result in a loss of gloss or changes in the glaze’s artistic characteristics.

Safety

  • The use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during application is recommended.
  • As glazes react to heat, keep them away from fire, sparks, and open flames during use.
  • Children should use the product only under adult supervision.

Storage

  • Store in airtight conditions and protect from direct sunlight.
  • If stored for a very long time, the glaze may begin to dry out. In this case, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and strain before use.
  • After opening, the application aids, stabilizers, and preservatives contained in the glaze may gradually lose effectiveness over time. While this generally does not affect the fired result, it may impact application performance, making the glaze more difficult to apply or causing pre-firing surface cracking. If you encounter such issues, please contact us for recommended solutions.
  • All ready to use glazes are available in 118 ml, 335 ml and 670 ml jars.
  • Our glazes are formulated ready to use in liquid forms.
  • It is recommended to apply by brush two to three even coats.
  • For other application methods you can add 5 %- 10 % water for diluting.
  • Before application, the glaze should be homogeneous.
  • We suggest you to test glazes on tiles and later on make final applications.
