TSC 100 Casting Slip (Dry Powder)
Equivalent to ESC 1 casting slip.
It is a dry granule product and should be mixed with 45–50% water. (For 25 kg of granules, approximately 12–12.5 kg of water is required.) After mixing with water, the expected slurry density is 1600–1630 g/L.
Mixing should continue until no lumps remain.
If desired, 0.1% sodium silicate (water glass) can be added to improve flow properties.
After mixing, the slip should be sieved and left in a sealed container for 1 day before use.
