Product Code: S 2077 – Amor
Recommended Firing Temperature: 1030–1060 °C
Form: Supplied in liquid form in 175 g, 500 g, and 1000 g packages.
Application Properties:
• Salmon-colored effects are observed in thin applications, while thicker applications produce fuchsia tones. The surface contains white particles. Depending on the application thickness, the amount of these particles may increase or decrease.
• Semi-transparent.
• The surface finish is glossy.
• Suitable for food contact. Recommended for tableware.
Application Methods:
• Suitable for brush application; the recommended application thickness is 1 to 2 coats.
• For spray or dipping applications, approximately 5–30% water addition is recommended to adjust the viscosity.
• The recommended specific gravity range is 45–55 on the Baumé scale.
Testing Recommendations:
• For customers using our glazes for the first time, we recommend preparing test tiles to observe the results under their own kiln firing schedules and application methods. Preparing test tiles on both vertical and horizontal surfaces according to the intended application method will be useful for becoming familiar with the glaze.
• The product shown in the image was applied over CMR 250 white casting clay.
• When combining artistic glazes with other artistic glazes or different glaze groups, we recommend testing them beforehand to avoid possible unexpected results.
Care and Cleaning:
• When the product is washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical solutions, which may result in matting or changes in its artistic effects.
Safety:
• The use of personal protective equipment during application is recommended.
• Since glazes interact with heat, it is recommended to keep them away from sources of fire and open flames during application.
• Children should only apply the product under supervision.
Storage:
• Store the products in an airtight environment, protected from direct sunlight.
• Products may begin to dry if stored for an extended period. In this case, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, strain, and use.
• After opening the package, over time, the application aids, stabilizers, and antibacterial agents contained in the glazes may gradually lose their effectiveness. This generally does not affect the glaze’s firing result, but it may affect application performance; application may become more difficult or pre-firing cracks may occur on the surface. If you encounter such a situation, please contact us for recommended solutions.
