Important Instructions for Using the Mold

• These molds are designed for ceramic or porcelain slip casting only. The shrinkage rate of the casting slip may vary depending on the type of clay used. They are not suitable for casting plaster, gypsum, stone powder, or similar materials.
• Before casting, wipe the plaster mold with a damp sponge and ensure that no dust or debris remains inside. The casting slip should be thoroughly mixed using an electric mixer whenever possible; otherwise, use a wooden stirrer or spoon.
• Our molds feature a pouring opening. Pour the slip slowly into the mold until it reaches the top of the pouring opening.
• Depending on ambient temperature and humidity, the mold can typically be used for 2–4 castings per day. The mold absorbs moisture after each casting and should be allowed to dry completely before being used again.
• Under normal conditions, the expected service life of our molds is approximately 90–100 castings, although this may vary depending on usage and maintenance.
