Important Notes for Mold Usage

• The molds are suitable for ceramic and porcelain slip casting. Shrinkage rates may vary depending on the type of casting slip used. Not suitable for materials such as plaster, stone powder, or similar substances.

• Before casting, the plaster mold should be wiped with a slightly damp sponge to ensure it is clean and free of dust or residue. The casting slip should be thoroughly mixed—preferably with an electric mixer; if unavailable, a wooden spoon may be used.

• Our molds are equipped with a casting opening. The slip should be poured slowly and evenly into the mold until it reaches the top of the opening.

• Depending on ambient conditions, 2–4 castings per day can be performed. The mold absorbs moisture after each casting; therefore, it is recommended not to reuse the mold until it has fully dried. The average lifespan of our molds is approximately 90–100 castings, though this may vary depending on usage and handling.
