Recommended Firing Temperature Range: 1020 – 1050 °C

Form: Supplied in liquid form in 118 ml, 335 ml, and 670 ml packages.

Application Properties:

• In thin applications, this glaze creates petrol green metallic effects. As the application thickness increases, it covers the surface with small crystals formed on a black metallic base.

• The surface finish is semi-gloss due to its metallic effect.

• It provides an opaque finish on the applied surface.

• In thicker applications, the surface finish is matte. As the application thickness decreases, glossy effects may become visible.

• It has a highly fluid glaze structure. As the application thickness increases, its tendency to flow also increases.

• Contains toxic substances and is not suitable for food contact.

Application Methods:

• Suitable for brush application; the recommended application thickness is 1 to 3 coats.

• For spray or dipping applications, adding approximately 5–30% water is recommended to adjust the viscosity.

• Recommended specific gravity range: 45–55 on the Baumé scale.

Testing Recommendation:

• For customers using our glazes for the first time, we recommend preparing test tiles to observe the results according to their own firing schedules and application methods. Preparing test tiles on both vertical and horizontal surfaces according to your application method will be useful for getting to know the glaze.

• The product shown in the image was applied over CMR 250 white casting clay. Since the glaze is transparent, its color and artistic effects may vary when applied over colored clay bodies.

• When combining artistic glazes with other artistic glazes or other glaze groups, we recommend testing beforehand to avoid possible incompatibilities or unexpected results.

Care and Cleaning:

• When the product is washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical solutions, which may result in matting or changes in its artistic effects.

Safety:

• The use of personal protective equipment is recommended during application.

• Since glazes interact with heat, keep them away from sources of fire and open flames during application.

• Children should use the product only under supervision.

Storage:

• Store the products in an airtight manner and protect them from direct sunlight.

• Products may begin to dry when stored for a very long period. In this case, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and strain before use.

• After opening the package, the shelf life may be extended; however, the application aids, stabilizers, and preservatives contained in the glazes may gradually lose their effectiveness over time. This generally does not affect the firing result of the glaze, but it may affect application performance. Application may become more difficult, or cracks may form on the surface before firing.
