Form: Supplied as a liquid glaze in 175 g, 500 g, and 1000 g containers.

Application Properties

• This matte glaze has a highly fluid nature that can create glossy effects in areas where the glaze pools during firing. The irregular crystal formations created by the combination of beige and brown tones provide a rich artistic appearance. When applied thickly on vertical forms, a speckled surface effect may also develop.
• The surface has a matte finish. Areas where the glaze accumulates become glossy.
• This glaze is semi-opaque. Thin applications will exhibit a translucent appearance.
• The glaze is highly fluid within the recommended firing range. Controlled application is recommended.
• There is a risk of glaze crazing.
• This glaze is not acid-resistant; therefore, contact with acidic foods is not recommended.
• Contains no toxic substances.

Application Methods

• For brush application, the recommended thickness is 1 to 3 coats.
• For spray gun or dipping applications, adding approximately 5–30% water is recommended to adjust the viscosity.
• Recommended Baumé range: 45–55°Bé.

Testing Recommendations

• We recommend that customers using our glazes for the first time prepare test tiles using their own kiln schedule and application methods to evaluate the results.
• Preparing both vertical and horizontal test pieces according to your application method will help you better understand the glaze’s behavior.
• The sample shown was applied over BNC 1200 White Porcelain Clay. Due to the glaze’s translucent properties, the final color and artistic effects may vary when applied to colored clay bodies.
• When combining artistic glazes with other artistic glazes or different glaze series, we strongly recommend testing beforehand to avoid unexpected results.

Care and Cleaning

• Washing glazed ware in a dishwasher may expose the glaze surface to high-temperature chemical detergents, which can cause matting or changes in its artistic characteristics.

Safety

• The use of appropriate personal protective equipment during application is recommended.
• As glazes react to heat, keep them away from open flames and ignition sources during application.
• Children should use this product only under adult supervision.

Storage

• Store the product in airtight containers and protect it from direct sunlight.
• If stored for an extended period, the glaze may begin to dry out. In this case, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and strain before use.
• After opening the container, the application enhancers, stabilizers, and preservatives contained in the glaze may gradually lose their effectiveness over time. This generally does not affect the fired result but may influence application performance, making the glaze more difficult to apply or causing pre-firing surface cracking.
