Application Characteristics

• This artistic matte glaze offers rich and varied effects depending on the application thickness. Thin applications produce delicate veined vibration effects ranging from light green to creamy tones, while thicker applications develop more dominant green hues with occasional light brown vibration effects.
• The flowing veined patterns develop in the direction of glaze movement, adding depth and a distinctive artistic appearance to the surface. Thanks to its highly fluid nature, the flowing effect becomes especially pronounced on vertical forms, while pointed or thin areas may reveal subtle translucent transitions.
• Each firing produces unique and individual results, giving every piece its own character and artistic expression.
• As the firing temperature increases, the color gradually shifts from green toward muted yellow tones, and the vibration effects become less pronounced.
• The glaze has a matte surface finish.
• It has high opacity.
• This is a highly fluid glaze. Flow increases as both the firing temperature and application thickness increase. Controlled application is strongly recommended.
• This glaze is not acid-resistant. Therefore, contact with acidic foods is not recommended.
• Contains no toxic substances.

Application Methods

• Suitable for brush application. The recommended thickness is 1–2 coats.
• For spray gun or dipping applications, it is recommended to dilute the glaze with approximately 5–30% water to achieve the desired consistency.
• Recommended Baumé (Bé) range: 45–55.

Testing Recommendations

• We recommend that first-time users test the glaze under their own firing schedules and application methods before production. Preparing both vertical and horizontal test tiles according to your application technique will help you better understand the glaze’s behavior.
• The sample shown in the product image was applied over BNC 1200 White Porcelain Clay.
• When combining artistic glazes with other artistic or standard glaze series, we recommend conducting tests beforehand to avoid unexpected results.

Care and Cleaning

• When washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical detergents, which can cause slight matting or changes in its artistic surface characteristics.

Safety

• The use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is recommended during application.
• Since glazes react to heat, keep them away from open flames and ignition sources during application.
• Children should use the product only under adult supervision.

Storage

• Store the product in an airtight container, protected from direct sunlight.
• If stored for an extended period, the glaze may begin to dry. In this case, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and strain before use.
• After opening, the application enhancers, stabilizers, and preservatives contained in the glaze may gradually lose their effectiveness over time. This generally does not affect the fired result, but it may reduce application performance, making the glaze more difficult to apply or causing pre-firing surface cracking.
