Application Characteristics

• An artistic glaze in ocean blue tones that produces a matte surface with a subtle vibrating texture. In thin applications, the surface texture is more pronounced; as the application thickness increases, the vibrating effect diminishes. The color does not change between thin or thick applications. The recommended application thickness is 2 coats. Thick application is not recommended.
• Matte surface finish.
• High opacity.
• No running tendency within the recommended firing range.
• Not acid-resistant. Contact with acidic foods is not recommended.
• Does not contain toxic substances.

 

Application Methods

• Suitable for brush application; recommended thickness is 1–2 coats.
• For spray (pistol) or dipping methods, add approximately 5–30% water to adjust density.
• Recommended Baumé range: 45–55.

 

Testing Recommendation

• For customers using our glazes for the first time, we recommend preparing test tiles under your own kiln conditions and application methods to evaluate results. Preparing both vertical and horizontal test pieces according to your application method will help you understand the glaze.
• In the product image, the glaze was applied on BNC 1200 white porcelain clay.
• When combining artistic glazes with other artistic or different glaze groups, testing is recommended to avoid potential defects.

 

Care and Cleaning

• When washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical solutions. This may cause matting or variations in artistic characteristics.

 

Safety

• Personal protective equipment is recommended during application.
• Since glazes interact with heat, keep away from fire and open flame sources during application.
• Children should use the product under adult supervision.

 

Storage

• Store in airtight conditions and protect from direct sunlight.
• If stored for a long time, the product may begin to dry. In this case, add some water, mix thoroughly, and sieve before use.
• After opening, over time, brushing agents, stabilizers, and antibacterial additives may lose effectiveness. This generally does not affect the firing result but may influence application performance (e.g., more difficult application or pre-firing surface cracking).
