Recommended Firing Range

1180–1250°C

Packaging

Available as a liquid glaze in 175 g, 500 g, and 1000 g containers.

Product Features

  • An artistic glaze featuring caramel brown tones with dynamic, flowing surface variations.
  • When applied in thin coats, the glaze develops deeper, richer tones. As the application becomes thicker, the color lightens slightly, creating a softer and more subtle appearance.
  • At 1250°C, the surface movement becomes smoother and more fluid, producing graceful transitions and a flowing character. This results in natural, balanced color variations that add depth to the surface.
  • Glossy finish.
  • Opaque glaze.
  • Displays moderate flow at 1200–1220°C and high fluidity at 1250°C.
  • Acid resistant and free from toxic substances.

Application Methods

  • Suitable for brush application. Recommended application thickness is 1–3 coats.
  • For spraying or dipping, dilute with approximately 5–30% water to achieve the desired consistency.
  • Recommended specific gravity: 45–55° Bé.

Testing Recommendations

  • We recommend first-time users test the glaze under their own firing schedule and application methods before production.
  • Preparing both vertical and horizontal test tiles will help you better understand the glaze’s characteristics.
  • The sample shown was applied over BNC 1200 White Porcelain Clay. Due to the glaze’s transparent characteristics, its color and artistic effects may vary when applied to colored clay bodies.
  • When combining artistic glazes with other artistic or standard glaze series, we recommend conducting compatibility tests beforehand to avoid unexpected results.

Care & Cleaning

  • When washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical detergents. Over time, this may result in slight changes to the surface appearance or the artistic glaze effects.

Safety

  • The use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during application is recommended.
  • As glazes react to heat, keep the product away from open flames and ignition sources during use.
  • Children should use the product only under adult supervision.

Storage

  • Store in a tightly sealed container, protected from direct sunlight and air exposure.
  • If the glaze thickens or begins to dry after prolonged storage, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and strain before use.
  • After opening, the effectiveness of application additives such as flow enhancers, stabilizers, and preservatives may gradually decrease over time. While this generally does not affect the fired result, it may reduce application performance, making the glaze more difficult to apply or causing surface cracking before firing. If you experience these issues, please contact us for technical support.
  • All ready to use glazes are available in 118 ml, 335 ml and 670 ml jars.
  • Our glazes are formulated ready to use in liquid forms.
  • It is recommended to apply by brush two to three even coats.
  • For other application methods you can add 5 %- 10 % water for diluting.
  • Before application, the glaze should be homogeneous.
  • We suggest you to test glazes on tiles and later on make final applications.
