Recommended Firing Range: 1030–1080 °C
Form: Supplied as a liquid in 175 g, 500 g, and 1000 g packages.
Application Properties
- Transparent glazes are inherently highly transparent due to their composition. Therefore, the final fired appearance may vary depending on the color of the clay body and the application thickness.
- On white clay bodies, thin applications produce lighter tones, while increasing the application thickness results in greater color intensity and a gradual reduction in transparency.
- On dark-colored clay bodies, the underlying body color influences the final appearance, causing the same transparent glaze to display different tones. Therefore, the final result may vary depending on the color of the clay body used.
- Since transparent glazes can produce tonal variations depending on the application thickness, they should be applied evenly to achieve a uniform surface appearance. Uneven application may result in tonal differences and a wavy or mottled appearance after firing.
- Produces a glossy surface.
- Does not run within the recommended firing temperature range.
- Acid resistant and free from toxic substances.
- Recommended for tableware.
Application Methods
- Suitable for brush application. The recommended application thickness is 2 to 3 coats.
- For spray gun or dipping applications, it is recommended to add approximately 5–30% water to adjust the consistency.
- Recommended Baumé (°Bé): 39–48.
Testing Recommendation
- We recommend that customers using our glazes for the first time prepare test tiles under their own firing conditions and application methods to evaluate the results. Preparing both vertical and horizontal test pieces according to your application technique will help you better understand the glaze’s behavior.
- The sample shown in the product image was applied over CMR 250 White Casting Body.
- When combining glazes with another artistic glaze or with other glaze groups, we recommend conducting tests beforehand to avoid possible incompatibilities or defects.
Care and Cleaning
- When washed in a dishwasher, the glaze surface may be exposed to high-temperature chemical detergents. Over time, this may result in slight dulling or changes in the artistic characteristics of the glaze.
Safety
- The use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during application is recommended.
- Since glazes interact with heat, they should be kept away from fire and open flames during application.
- Children should use the product only under adult supervision.
Storage
- Store the product in a tightly sealed container, protected from direct sunlight and air exposure.
- If the glaze begins to dry after prolonged storage, add a small amount of water, mix thoroughly, and strain before use.
- After opening the container, the application aids, stabilizers, and preservatives contained in the glaze may gradually lose their effectiveness over time. This generally does not affect the fired result, but it may reduce application performance, making the glaze more difficult to apply or causing pre-firing surface cracking. If you encounter such a situation, please contact us for technical support and recommended solutions.

- All ready to use glazes are available in 118 ml, 335 ml and 670 ml jars.
- Our glazes are formulated ready to use in liquid forms.
- It is recommended to apply by brush two to three even coats.
- For other application methods you can add 5 %- 10 % water for diluting.
- Before application, the glaze should be homogeneous.
- We suggest you to test glazes on tiles and later on make final applications.
